So far we have not been disappointed. In fact our expectations have been exceeded. Our visits are unannounced and we find our mother happy and well cared for. The food is excellent. Although the first few days were rough for her as she had to adjust to new surroundings (and probably doubly rougher for us worrying!) everything they told her this would happen did happen: it is now the new norm.
Previously, she was living in her own home with 24 hour live in care. We had always assumed she was better off that way, and while the caregivers were good, we are convinced now she is much better off. Better food, safer living conditions, and much less stress for us.
