It is my pleasure to introduce you to AmeriCare Health & Retirement’s newest senior living community development project, Silvergate Rancho Santa Fe.
Currently, Silvergate Rancho Santa Fe is in the early stages of development. We are moving through the entitlement process and working to obtain the required approvals necessary for all projects of this type. When approved and built, this extraordinary retirement community will offer you a wonderful opportunity to live in the most beautiful, high-end senior living community available in the North County Coastal area of San Diego. Given the extensive timeframe necessary to develop this type of property, we hope to complete the project and open Silvergate Rancho Santa Fe five years from now in 2028.
The site for the project is the 29-acre property located at the NE corner of Calzada Del Bosque and Via De La Valle, across from the well-known Chino Farms. We intend to develop a campus-style community offering a unique combination of cottages and apartments specifically designed to help residents from the Rancho Santa Fe area transition into an exciting and new style of luxury retirement living. The property is within the Covenant boundary of Rancho Santa Fe and will incorporate the type of Spanish architectural design aesthetics that are typical of many of the homes in the Ranch.
Overall, the development will offer a one-of-a-kind residential style retirement community similar in concept to our Silvergate Rancho Bernardo property which opened in 2020. In Rancho Santa Fe, however, the generous acreage the property will be situated on allows us to construct larger cottages and apartments to reflect the size and nature of the homes currently found in the Rancho Santa Fe area. We expect the cottages to range from 2,000 to 2,500 sq. ft. and the size of the apartment homes to range from 1,400 to 1,700 sq. ft. There is nothing comparable to these living unit sizes in any other San Diego retirement community.
I am pleased to say that to date we have had a rather remarkable expression of early interest in the community. Almost everyone that has contacted us has requested to be added to the Wait List. So I invite you to do the same.
