Silvergate Fallbrook, the area’s premier senior living community, is proud to announce the completion of major renovations to its expansive outdoor courtyard and all common activity rooms. The community is excited to host a Fall Open House at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 to debut the latest upgrades.
Local seniors and families are invited to come meet the management team, tour the community, and join in with the festivities, including: elegant hors d’oeuvres, signature cocktails, exciting raffle prizes and a ribbon cutting ceremony conducted by the Fallbrook Chamber of Commerce. This event will also debut the newest apartment design renderings for which construction begins later this fall.
The largest portion of Silvergate’s renovation efforts were focused on the original interior courtyard. It was rebuilt from the ground up to create a brand new outdoor environment for resident enjoyment and the opportunity for year-round activity. Improvements included a beautiful new year-round outdoor patio dining venue, outdoor living room with fire pit, all new walking paths and uplighting, an outdoor bar and beverage station, a live entertainment stage, outdoor gaming areas, and lush landscaping with beautiful water features.
“Our residents have been so excited with all of the new choices they have now in newly renovated courtyard,” said Carie Hensley, Activities Director for Silvergate Fallbrook who has been leading the communities onsite events for nearly a decade. “It’s going to be an exciting hub of activity and fun for the entire community.”
One of the most anticipated portions of the courtyard renovation is the opening of its newly constructed outdoor dining venue — The Star Patio. The beautiful new, trellis-covered patio venue provides residents with an outdoor dining experience in a comfortable courtyard setting that encourages meaningful connections among residents.
“We are so fortunate to have such an expansive area within our picturesque 5-acre campus to build something like this,” said Patricia Martinez, Executive Director for Silvergate Fallbrook. It just could not have turned out nicer.”
A host of new activity programs is being launched this fall to take advantage of the newly redesigned space, including: Fireside chats, family Sunday brunches, outdoor game days & tournaments, tai chi classes, walking club, courtyard sip & paint, lawn bowling, concerts, wine tastings, and more.
In addition to the courtyard expansion, Silvergate renovated nearly every internal activity room in their main building with the help of a nationally recognized interior design firm specializing in senior living. A fresh new contemporary design was brought into Silvergate’s dedicated card room, theater room, craft & activity room, café, and on-site hair salon.
During the Open House, Silvergate will also unveil design renderings of its newest luxury one- and two-bedroom apartment plans. Construction will begin later this fall on select apartments offering larger square footages and a long list of upgraded features, including an open kitchen-living room design, larger master bedrooms, in-room laundry, walk-in closets, and more. Advance reservations are now being taken on Phase I of the new units.
Silvergate’s major renovations also occurred in their Silvergate’s Suites building – a separate building on campus dedicated to seniors with memory care related needs including Alzheimer’s and dementia. The secure outdoor patio was significantly expanded by nearly 100% to allow for more outdoor activities, seating, and walkways.
