This month, the first of the Cottages was opened for viewing to both future and prospective residents. Depositors who are preparing to move to Silvergate took their first official tour of the newly completed “Kingsgate” cottage model and their excitement was palpable.
FROM THE WEST & EAST WINGS
On the exterior of the east and west wing apartment buildings, application of the lath and stucco were in full swing during September. Meanwhile, the interior spaces moved forward in production as soffits were being framed out and drywall taping continued throughout the buildings. Progress is happening everywhere you turn.
OVER AT THE POOL HOUSE…
The expert masonry installers rounded out their work this month on the hand-placed arch-way stones for the columns that surround the open-air Pool House patio. Even more exciting to see has been the completion of the outdoor fireplace that will become the central focal point of the Pool House patio. In the meantime, pouring and curing of the courtyard concrete continued while trim pieces were fitted into place throughout this truly inviting outdoor gatherings place.
RESTAURANT & BISTRO INFRASTRUCTURE GOES IN
The El Castillo Restaurant is really coming to life! Outside, the roof installers have finished placing and securing the striking mosaic tile roof. Inside, installation is taking place in every corner of the space. The mechanical, electrical and plumbing have all advanced in their construction stages.
SILVERGATE MEMORY CARE SUITES PROGRESSING
Swift progress is being made in the Memory Care Suites where flooring, tile, countertops and doors are all being installed in the individual suites and common areas. A first coat of rich and inviting paint colors has gone onto the walls in the suites and down in the hallways. Outside, stucco application is underway.
