As the rainy season begins to let up, progress on Silvergate Rancho Bernardo is kicking into high gear and the project is really starting to take shape!
On the south end of the site, many of the cottages had windows and roof tile installed in the past few weeks. Cottages walls and roofs have now been framed with much of the progress visible from the street along Avenida Venusto, as you can see from the photo above.
In the middle of the site, our two apartment wings are going up quickly. These buildings are being built out of steel and metal wall panels that are designed and fabricated off-site. That way, after going through a meticulous design period and arriving on site, they can be secured in place relatively quickly. As such, framing on these buildings is moving along fast! All three floors of the east wing are completed, as is the first floor on the west wing. In addition, the central clubhouse is also beginning to take shape, with welding of the steel building nearly complete.
On the north end of the site, our Memory Care building is now fully framed and the work is starting to move inside. Finally, structural framing for the Restaurant building will begin in the coming weeks. With construction crews working hard to stay on schedule, exciting progress is happening everyday out on the site.
Most importantly, we remain on track to complete construction towards the end of the year and open our doors in early 2020. Now is the best time to join the growing list of people who have already selected their new homes and will enjoy our beautiful new premier retirement community. With all of our cottages and two bedroom apartments now fully pre-leased, our one bedroom apartments are filling up fast. Give Pam a call today at (858) 683-9938 to join our community!
