Happy Holidays from Silvergate!! We are so grateful for your continued interest in our community as we work hard to build Rancho Bernardo’s newest premier retirement community.
As we head into the busy holiday season, we just wanted to keep you in the loop on the status of things around the site and here in the office.
- Construction Phase One Completed – We have successfully completed some important construction milestones since the Groundbreaking Ceremony in May, including: grading of the entire site, building retaining walls, and installing vibro pier rock columns.
- Construction Phase Two Underway – If you get a chance to peek through the fence, you’ll see many different types of large pipes on the site. These are for our water, sewer, and storm lines, and will be going into the ground over the next few months. Shortly after that, the concrete foundations of the buildings will be poured.
- Projected Open Date – For those of you who have been on our list since the beginning, you may notice that our original projected date of 2018 is fast approaching. As you know, City approvals, permitting, and construction are all prone to delays, despite our best efforts. To help you in your planning, we want to let you know we are now projecting to open our doors in late 2019 or early 2020. So, in the meantime, keep chipping away at your closets and garage – it’s never too early to start getting ready to downsize!
