Construction on the Silvergate Rancho Bernardo site is well underway! The current focus is completing the underground garage (as pictured above) on the north end of the site. The large underground structure is a great amenity for the community, allowing residents a safe area to keep cars clean, protected from the elements, and secured. The garage also provides direct elevator access to both of the apartment buildings.
From the beginning of the design process, we knew an underground parking structure was a must-have. Because we’ve greatly reduced the need for surface parking spots, the garage allows us to incorporate many more resort-like amenities throughout the campus, like the private pool and jacuzzi, putting green, bocce court, walking trails, and more.
Once the garage is completed, construction of the Memory Care Suites building, which is located above the garage, will begin. In addition, we will also begin construction on the two apartment buildings. Both the Memory Care Suites building and the apartment buildings will be constructed with light gauge metal pre-fabricated panels, which will arrive onsite beginning next month.
