April 14, 2017 – Groundbreaking Ceremony
Since the beginning of the year, we have been working diligently with our project team to make progress on the plans and to keep construction costs under control. I am now happy to report we are finally ready to break ground next month!
We will be celebrating this project milestone with a Groundbreaking Ceremony on Wednesday, May 10th at 1 pm. Please save the date, as we hope you’ll join us for this grand and much anticipated event. More details will be provided soon.
As for other project updates, I’ve highlighted a few of the things we’ve been working on lately below.
Fine Tuning the Project Plans
The project team has been hard at work fine tuning the plans, and has spent an extensive amount of time ensuring the high quality of the project while keeping costs under control.
Negotiating with Contractors
We’ve been reviewing and selecting the best local contractors in San Diego, and feel confident that this project will be built to the high standard we have come to expect.
Selecting an Interior Design Firm
After a thorough review of proposals from several interior design firms, we have selected Warner Design Associates, a specialist in premier senior living properties.
Securing Financing
I’m happy to announce that a construction loan for the project has been reviewed and approved by City National Bank. This ensures our financial stability during the construction phase of the project.
Receiving our Grading Permit
In addition to the entitlement permits we received last year, we now have approval from the City of San Diego to proceed with grading, which is slated to begin in May.
Lastly, I want to express my gratitude for your continued support and willingness to join us on this journey. Now that we’re entering into the construction phase of the project, we will be sending out monthly project updates so that you can stay on top of the latest news.
